Jens Hacke teaches Political Science as an Adjunct Lecturer at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin (Humboldt University of Berlin). Hacke’s dissertation “Philosophie der Bürgerlichkeit” (“Philosophy of the Bourgeois”) was awarded the Wolf Erich Kellner Prize and the Friedwart Bruckhaus Prize by Die Hanns Martin Schleyer-Stiftung (The Hanns Martin Schleyer Foundation). In 2007, he took on a lectureship at Die Universität Hamburg am Institut für Politische Wissenschaft (The University of Hamburg at the Institute for Political Science). He was a Research Assistant at Das Hamburger Instituts für Sozialforschung (The Hamburg Institute for Social Research) from 2008 to 2016. From 2016 to 2018, he served as Deputy Chair of Political Science at Die Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg (The Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg).
