"Mit deinem Bruder hatten wir ja Glück": Telefonate mit meinen Eltern
Like all real Berliners, Sebastian Lehmann is originally from southern Germany. To keep in touch with his parents in the province of Baden, he often calls them on the phone. They talk about his unprofitable art as a so-called writer, frozen pizza for dinner, when (hopefully soon) and who (honestly it doesn’t matter) he will finally marry and why there are still no grandchildren on the way. Sebastian took notes on these entertaining phone calls and made a book out of them. His mother is proud, his father had no comment and hopefully didn’t change the will. There’s a pointed clash between generations, between city and country and between young and old.
