Equipped with provisions and fresh linens, Dr. Faber, resident at a German hospital, starts his 24-hour on-call shift at 10:00 a.m. In addition to his ward, the young doctor will be responsible for 150 patients from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. the following morning including the ICU.
